About Me
A Keller Williams agent and graduate of BOLD. I have served on the Culture Committee in our Market Center. How can I serve you today?
I began working in real estate in the late 1980's in Michigan. We were there for my husband’s job transfer. When we returned home from Michigan, I began my real estate career here in Ohio with a large brokerage, in West Chester, OH in 2002.
While we lived in Michigan, I became interested in three things, two of which would turn into a passion for helping our community in Ohio. The three interests that found and captured my attention in Michigan were, volunteering with family services, cars, and real estate. It's hard to live near Detroit without being touched by the car industry in some way.
The real estate industry found me by way of a delightful, neighborhood Realtor®. He offered me what turned out to be a wonderful learning opportunity; the chance to see up close how real estate was done correctively and how to really deliver great service to our clients. I was so lucky to experience firsthand success by this Top Producer. In fact, because of my work creating the Referral Directory for social services as a volunteer a few years earlier, this Top Producing agent wondered how I would be as a telephone appointment setter. This was a natural fit for me to pick up where I left off, from social work to sales. I soaked in all the learning I could while under my mentor’s tutelage. Then, when our family moved back to Ohio I began growing my business, I felt ready. I began working strictly residential and then as I found the need to learn about another sector of real estate to help a client, I sought out others that were great at that specialty. I was soon able to include in my practice, small hobby farms. You never know when that information you learn will become useful.
I have earned as my highest achievement in real estate, the designation of CRS (Residential Real Estate Council). The CRS designation challenges members to work with our industry, and public officials to work for affordable housing. CRS also maintains a strict requirement of some of the highest continuing education possible. I enjoy every moment of this. I have also joined our local Cincinnati Board of Realtors® to serve on the Professional Standards Committee. We want our professionals to value and practice the Code of Ethics which every Realtor® adheres to when joining the National Association of Realtor®. Ongoing learning as you can see is a priority of mine. I believe that I have a duty to clients as well as my peers to stay on top of the changes that affect our industry. Having knowledge allows me to return the favor granted to me many years ago by mentoring new agents. It is a great pleasure to show them the joy of ongoing learning. Being a full-time agent is a must in this industry. I service the northern suburbs of Greater Cincinnati, such as West Chester and up to Dayton and everywhere in between. I am committed to giving my clients great service and putting strong negotiating skills to work to meet the goals that they have in the sale or purchase of property.
